We have an opportunity now to broaden our base.

Everyone who is signed up as a “Reconciling United Methodist” can be kept informed on the
happenings within RMN and our United Methodist Church. As they are informed about these
events, they can participate ~ become ambassadors for the Good News.

Please take action in this ministry.

A. To recruit individuals, download sign up cards at our resources page.
and personally ask people to sign up as Reconciling United Methodists (RUMs). We need you to collect these signed forms yourself and mail them to us. We will follow up with our “New RUM” packet which will give them information and connect them into our Flashnet and Katalyst. Contributions are appreciated, but one does not have to wait for this to sign up.

B. To recruit congregations or communities, ask for our resource packets. Resource papers and some discussion starters are available through email by contacting sue@rmnetwork.org.

C. We are also offering “Saddlebags” of resources for circuit riders serious about the
Reconciling process at their church. “Saddlebags” contain information for Reconciling process plus our best teaching resources.

Saddlebags will include the above papers plus one copy each of:

Shaping Sanctuary worship resource, 420 pages
Claiming the Promise Bible Study, 48 pages
And God Loves Each One (sexual orientation), 20 pages
Made in God’s Image (gender identity), 24 pages
and various papers.

DVD:

“COMING OUT~COMING IN: Faith, Identity and Belonging”.
This half-hour program tells of the struggles of gay and lesbian Christians to find church. This comes with a comprehensive study guide for Sunday School classes and other discussion groups.
