“The Peninsula United Methodist Church is a fellowship of Christians who experience and give witness to God’s unconditional love and grace. We believe that all people are worthy of these gifts.
Even as each of us journeys toward personal reconciliation, as a community, we embrace with love all God’s children as persons of equal sacred worth with no distinctions made for race, age, gender, faith history, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical and mental ability. We gather to worship and commit ourselves to nurturing one another whoever we are and wherever we come from.
As a Reconciling Congregation, we reach out in love to our community and world, welcoming into the life and ministry of our church all who have been hurt, margingalized or made unwelcome by religious organizations, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons. We are earnestly dedicated to living the motto “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.”
