The Extension Ministries of Reconciling Ministries Network are geared toward specific groups of people who are interested in working as together for a more inclusive church.
The Reconciling Ministries Clergy is comprised of persons called to ordained ministry within the United Methodist Church who summon the church to a deeper level of spiritual and theological integrity in relationship to persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities and their full inclusion in all aspects of the church’s life.
PRN is an organization of United Methodist parents of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered children who gather, provide witnesses and produce resources.
UMOC is the progressive, multiracial and multiethnic caucus for true diversity in the United Methodist Church.edicated to bridging the movements to eradicate all forms of oppression and discrimination in the church. We work to build a church that is anti-racist, anti-classist, anti-heterosexist, and anti-colonialist and seek to create ways to build a truly diverse and multicultural denomination for the glory of God and reflecting the wonder of God’s creation.
Begun almost 15 years ago, MOSAIC gathers young adults (18-30) from across the United Methodist connection to advocate, learn, encourage one another and challenge discriminatory systems of the church. All young adults are welcome.
This new extension ministry is dedicated to a more full discussion of gender and gender identity in our movement and our church.
